Celebrations is a family business, we started trading 20 years ago in Kempston then expanded by opening our sister shop Lady B in Bedfords high street. The range of bridal gowns we stock come in all sizes from size 8 up to 30 plus. We also have a large range of beautiful Bridesmaids and the latest Prom dresses, all our Bridal consultants are experienced and can help advise you on that very special dress.


We can also offer private appointments at our newly refurbished Kempston branch Monday to Friday between11am till 4pm.

When a bride starts looking for her dress she should always take into consideration her venue and location, for weddings abroad chiffon is light and floaty and if hung for a few days before the wedding all creases will drop out. For more formal weddings, dresses made of satin with long trains bring tears to any ladies eyes as the bride walks up the aisle on her fathers arm. When the bride visits one of our stores, usually with her Mother and Best Friend, we always ask the bride how she pictures herself, we then advise the bride on colour and styles. Once the bride has chosen her dream dress then the fun starts with the bridesmaids. Its always best to bring all the bridesmaids with you as you can see how the styles suit all of them. The bride should have a colour in mind and not be persuaded to change her mind because the bridesmaids like a different colour, remember its the BRIDES DAY.   When the time comes for the bride and her maids to have their gowns altered, we provide an alteration service 6 days a week, with a late night on Thursdays. If the bride is travelling a long way we try and do the alterations the same day.
